Project Engineer

Massei Construction is looking for a sharp, motivated Project Engineer who wants to understand how exceptional homes actually get built.
Working directly with our Project Managers and Superintendents, you’ll gain exposure across preconstruction, procurement, project controls and field execution—from the early stages of a project through closeout.
What You’ll Do
PROJECT COORDINATION
PRECONSTRUCTION & PROCUREMENT
PROJECT CONTROLS
Work with the Project Manager and Superintendent to execute work in accordance with plans, specifications and project requirements.
Assist with takeoffs, estimating, bid packages, subcontractor pricing, bid leveling, buyout and procurement.
FIELD EXPOSURE
CLOSEOUT
Manage RFIs, submittals, contracts, change orders, logs, payment applications, lien releases and project records.
Participate in site walks, coordinate with the field team, track schedules and maintain awareness of field conditions, quality and safety.

What We’re Looking For
EXPERIENCE
TECHNICAL FOUNDATION
COMMUNICATION
ORGANIZATION
3+ years Construction experience; high-end residential strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of drawings, details, sequencing and engineering.
Ability to work professionally with clients, design teams and subcontractors.
Strong attention to detail, follow-through and project ownership.
TOOLS
Microsoft Office and Bluebeam proficiency; Procore or similar project-management software preferred.
