Steve Massei
FOUNDER / BUILDER • DEVELOPER
Steve’s career spans decades across construction management and real estate development, with experience ranging from custom residential and complex estate transformations to large-scale multifamily development.
His field knowledge, developer perspective, and hands-on leadership inform every Massei project. Steve remains closely involved from early planning through completion, helping guide each home with clarity, precision, and a strong understanding of the decisions that shape the finished work.
Stephanie Massei
PRESIDENT • EXECUTIVE LEADERSHIP
Stephanie leads the operational foundation of Massei, overseeing people, systems, financial management, and compliance. Her focus is on creating the structure and support that allow the team to deliver an exceptional client experience and maintain the highest standards across every project.
With a collaborative and solutions-oriented approach, Stephanie brings discipline, organization, and a deep commitment to the details that matter — ensuring Massei operates with efficiency, integrity, and a long-term perspective.
Shane Mervin
VICE PRESIDENT
Shane has built his career around luxury residential construction, with extensive experience leading custom homes and complex residential projects from preconstruction and pricing through construction and completion.
At Massei, he oversees preconstruction planning, estimating, and project delivery while leading project managers and superintendents across the firm’s active work.
Shane has also completed advanced professional studies in construction management through Columbia University and in renewable energy and green building through Duke University, complementing his field experience with formal training in project delivery and sustainable construction.
Jessica Grier
PROJECT MANAGEMENT & OPERATIONS
With more than 20 years of experience in residential construction, Jessica brings a deep understanding of the coordination, communication, and decision-making required to move complex projects forward. At Massei, she works across project teams, consultants, vendors, and clients, bringing clarity and continuity to each phase of construction.
Jessica serves as a consistent point of connection throughout the process, maintaining alignment around scope, cost, schedule, and project priorities. Her approach is hands-on and thoughtful, with an ability to anticipate what is needed and keep the many moving parts of a project coordinated.
She understands that building a custom home is both a significant undertaking and a deeply personal experience. Jessica brings a steady presence to the process, helping clients navigate its complexities while keeping communication clear and the broader project team aligned.
